After showers and storms earlier, we’ve seen sunshine through most of the afternoon and temperatures in the 80s. The storms earlier were thanks to a cold front that has been moving through the area. It is already bringing drier air to the area as dew points have already begun to drop. It’s feeling much more comfortable through most of the viewing area already, but drier air will continue to move in dropping dew points into the 50s through this evening and tonight. Tonight will be cooler with temperatures in the upper 50s and clear skies. This will be a great night to open up windows and get some fresh air in the house. Monday will be dry and comfortable with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and sunshine. We’ll see more sunshine Tuesday with temperatures around 80. A brief shower could pop up north of I-64 Tuesday night, but it won’t do much. Wednesday will be similar to Tuesday and still comfortable. It will start to feel muggier Thursday with a slight chance for an isolated shower. Highs Thursday will be in the mid 80s. We will see a slightly better chance for some showers and storms Friday with highs still in the mid 80s. Rain and storm chances pick up Saturday and Sunday with highs in the low to mid 80s.
