LANCASTER, Ky. (WTVQ) — Garrard County Police say they have arrested 34-year-old David Hall, after they say he stabbed two of his relatives and led them on a chase through two counties.
According to police, they responded to a stabbing on Cartersville Road in Lancaster, where they found two of Hall’s uncle with stab wounds.
They say one uncle had minor injuries, but the other was taken to UK Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
They also say Hall had been holding his mother against her will.
Police say Hall then went to a different relative’s house in Jessamine County, where they say he stole cash and a vehicle, which he drove away.
Jessamine County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to stop Hall, but say he refused to pull over.
They followed him all the way back to Lancaster, where he wrecked on Perry Rogers Road and was arrested.
He is now facing charges of assault and unlawful imprisonment.
