LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Bluegrass airport says its schedule is mostly back to normal now after a plane slid off the runway Saturday afternoon.
The airport still recommends you check it before leaving for your flight or to pick someone up.
Several flights in and out of the airport were impacted Saturday when a Delta flight from Atlanta to the Bluegrass airport turned off the runway and onto the grass after landing.
Luckily, no one on the plane was hurt.
Passengers were bused to the terminal where they were reunited with their luggage.
It was raining heavily at the time, but no one has said whether that was connected to the slide.
