PARIS, Ky. (WTVQ) – A power outage left hundreds of Paris City Electric customers without power Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
According to the city, several people lost power at around 9:30 p.m., when a tree fell on a power pole on Fithian Avenue and snapped it.
The power line fell across nearby train tracks.
Crews have been on the scene, working to repair the pole and restore power.
Crews were also busy in other neighborhoods that experienced outages after a storm system came through, downing power lines and blowing transformers.
There is no word yet on when power will be fully restored.
