LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An intersection in Lexington was closed for just over an hour late Monday afternoon after a T-bone collision involving two vehicles, according to Lexington Police.
The accident happened at 5:44 p.m. at the intersection of Leestown Road and Yarnallton Pike.
Investigators say the driver of a car turned in front of a pickup truck while trying to make a turn and the pickup T-boned the car.
Police say the driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. They say the driver of the pickup refused treatment at the scene.
The intersection reopened just before 7:00 p.m., according to police.
