Happy Monday Kentucky! We’re kicking off the week with warm temperatures and a bit of sunshine but we have some big changes on the way. This afternoon the sunny, warm and muggy conditions will continue.  Temperatures will warm into the upper 80’s nearing 90 degrees with the potential to set a new record high.  The heat will continue through the week along with a bit more rain than last week.  You’ll want to have the rain gear on standby.

Today:  Partly sunny with a 10% chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms with a high near 89 degrees.

Tuesday:  Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance for rain and thunderstorms with a high near 86 degrees.

Wednesday:  Mostly cloudy with a 60% chance for rain and thunderstorms with a high near 83 degrees.



Thursday:  Mostly cloudy with a 60% chance for rain and thunderstorms with a high near 81 degrees.

Friday:  Mostly cloudy with a 60% chance for rain and thunderstorms with a high near 80 degrees.
