OWENSBORO, Ky. (WTVQ)—A Kentucky State Police trooper stopped a vehicle on KY 54 East of Owensboro around 11pm for a traffic violation Monday.
While investigating, the trooper suspected the operator to be impaired. The driver identified as Kelsey Lanham was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence. During her arrest, the trooper located a glass pipe and suspected methamphetamine in her vehicle and in her pocket.
The trooper also arrested the passenger who was identified as Billie Combs, of Owensboro.
State police say both were transported and lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.
