If you liked yesterday, you’ll love today. Temperatures will warm around 80 degrees with plenty of sunshine. It will be windy with gusts as high as 35 mph. With dry air in place and the higher wind, outdoor burning is not recommended. Temperatures will stay mild tonight with lows around 60 degrees with partly cloudy skies. A few showers will be possible Saturday morning with more activity building in toward noon. There will be breaks in the activity, so it will not be a washout Saturday. Some showers and storms Saturday could be strong to isolated severe with a better chance for severe weather staying south of Kentucky. Highs Saturday will warm around 71 degrees with wind gusts as high as 30 mph. Rain chances will continue into Sunday with isolated storms. Total rain amounts through the weekend will range from 1-3”, which could lead to minor flooding issues. Highs Sunday will settle around 60 degrees with overnight temperatures dropping into the mid 30s. With lingering showers and dropping temperatures, we will see a change over to light snow and a wintry mix overnight into Monday. Drizzle is possible through Monday with highs in the mid 40s. Temperatures will begin to improve Tuesday with highs in the upper 50s and mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will make it back into the 60 by midweek next week with more sunshine.
