LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Former UK basketball star and state Agriculture Commissioner Richie Farmer was scheduled to be in court Monday morning after London police arrested him for DUI last week.
Farmer’s appearance was postponed until April 16th.
The 48-year old Manchester native served a 27-month sentence for misappropriating government resources while in office.
Farmer pleaded guilty in the fall of 2013 to government corruption charges.
Authorities say that in addition to prison time, Farmer was ordered to pay the state more than $120,000 in restitution.
