Happy Monday Kentucky! We saw a great deal of snowfall across the region last night and this morning. Be sure to slow down and drive carefully on the roadways. Main road have improved significantly since the morning hours but side roads that have not been treated are still quite messy. The highest snowfall report so far this morning was 10.5 inches located in southeast Lexington. Generally snowfall reports ranged between 5 and 8 inches. Afternoon temperatures and a bit of sunshine should begin to help melt some of the snow. However, overnight temperatures will drop below freezing leaving the possibility for another slick commute tomorrow morning.
