London man arrested in McDonalds drive-thru for DUI


LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) — London Police arrested a man in a McDonalds drive-thru early Monday morning.

27-year-old Jared F. Malicoat of London was passed out behind the wheel of his truck with the ignition running at the McDonalds on South Laurel Road, according to police.

Police say Malicoat failed all standard field sobriety tests. They also say Mailicoat had a bench warrant out for his arrest.

Police arrested Malicoat and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, driving on a DUI suspended license, and other traffic-related charges.

Mailicoat was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
