ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police in Estill County say two people in Irvine seem to have died from a murder-suicide.

The coroner says a married couple, 68-year-old Barbara Williams and 71-year-old Charles Williams, were found dead in their Hood Avenue home yesterday afternoon.

The first officer on scene reportedly found a dead body inside. When back up arrived, police decided to enter tactically because it seemed like there could be guns in the home.

Though it seems like a murder-suicide, the bodies will go to Frankfort for an autopsy.

Police weren’t sure who the attacker might be.
