LEWIS COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office says it’s made an arrest involving the largest amount of meth it has ever seized.
Deputies arrested 40-year-old Ollin Driggers from Greenup County Saturday night.
They say they stopped his car and found a half pound of ice plus other drugs and cash.
Deputies took those and his car.
The sheriff says Driggers had about 23 thousand dollars worth of meth.
He’s grateful the drug didn’t get out onto the street where it could’ve hurt people in several communities.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating and expects to charge other people as well.
