School threat at Corbin Middle School


CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Corbin Middle School was on ‘soft’ lockdown Thursday morning for approximately one hour while school resource officers and staff investigated rumors of a safety threat, according to the school system.

No threat was found.

During the ‘soft’ lockdown, classes continued, but no movement was allowed in the building.

Investigators did not publicly reveal the specific nature of the rumored threat.
