LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Louisville man pleads guilty to trying to have sex with a minor.
The Office of the Attorney General’s Cyber Crimes Unit says 31-year-old Shawn Matthew Greschel was arrested last September.
On Friday, he pleaded guilty in Jefferson Circuit Court to the prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor for sex.
As part of his plea agreement, Greschel will serve one year in prison where he will receive sex offender treatment.
Upon release, he will be supervised for five years and will be placed on the Sex Offender Registry for 20 years.
Sentencing for Greschel is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. March 19, 2018.
