STAMPING GROUND, Ky. (WTVQ) – A crash Monday morning in Scott County has claimed the life of a woman.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Main Street and Culvert Street in Stamping Ground at around 10:45 a.m.

According to Scott County Coroner John Goble, 60-year-old Susan Squires was taken from the scene to Georgetown Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The coroner says Squires was not wearing a seat belt.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
The road was reopened by 5:30 p.m.
