Two killed in Wolfe Co. crash

WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Wolfe County Coroner has confirmed two people died in a wreck Saturday morning.

Officials say the crash happened on Mountain Parkway around mile marker 52, near the Hazel Green exit.

The coroner says he was called to the scene around 7:10 a.m.

State Police say after further investigation it was determined Stephen Conley, 42, of Oil Springs, was traveling westbound on the parkway when his vehicle veered into the eastbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by Samuel Brown, 66, of Campton.

Both were pronounced dead on scene by coroner Frank Porter.

The cause of wreck is under investigation.
