Berea man arrested for stabbing a man to death

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is dead after a stabbing Tuesday night in Berea around 9:30 on the 100 block of Dinsmore Street.

According to Berea Police, when officers arrived, the victim had severe injuries. Madison County EMS took him to UK hospital, where he died at 2:00 a.m.

Police say the argument started as a fist fight over one of the men sleeping with the other’s ex-wife.

Police took the suspect, 40-year-old Ricky Arvin from Berea, into custody and charged him with Assault 1st Degree. Those charges will now be upgraded to murder.
