LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lexington- Fayette County Health Department to hold free community training on naloxone.
If participants complete the 10 to 15 minute training, they will receive a free Narcan kit.
The training is being held Tuesday, January 23rd from 5 to 6 PM in the Dr. Rice C. Leach Community Room located at 650 Newton Pike.
The free kits are provided thanks to a partnership between several organizations.
Sponsors include the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department, Drug Free Lex, and the Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center (KIPRC).
The KIPRC is a part of the University of Kentucky College of Public Health, which serves as an agent for the Kentucky Department of Public Health.
