LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people were arrested on Thursday morning on sex charges in Laurel County.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the arrests occurred off Willie Cheek Road, approximately 10 miles east of London, after the Sheriff’s office was informed of the wherabouts of a missing juvenile.
The sheriff says upon investigation, deputies learned two adults allegedly had sex with the juvenile who then ran away.
Upon arrival investigators learned that Dustin Travis Jackson, 28, and Chelsea R. Jackson, 26, had allegedly subjected the underage juvenile to sexual contact while smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol with the juvenile.
According to the sheriff, in addition, the couples three young children were in the residence at the time.
Dustin Travis Jackson is charges with first-degree rape, custodial interference (felony) and three counts of criminal abuse in the first degree.
Chelsea R. Jackson is charged with first-degree sodomy, custodial interference (felony), and three counts of criminal abuse in the first degree.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff, both were lodged in the Laurel County detention Center.
