Louisville not getting Amazon’s second headquarters

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — Kentucky will not be the home to Amazon’s second headquarters.

On Thursday, Amazon named the 20 finalists in the race to win its second headquarters. Louisville submitted a proposal but did not make the cut.

Those cities and states that were selected are competing for an expected 50,000 jobs and $5 billion in investment.

Columbus, OH

Dallas, TX

Denver, CO

Indianapolis, IN

Los Angeles, CA

Miami, FL

Montgomery County, MD

Nashville, TN

Newark, NJ

Northern Virginia, VA

Philadelphia, PA

Pittsburgh, PA

Raleigh, NC

Toronto, ON

Washington D.C.

Those cities and states are competing for an expected 50,000 jobs and $5 billion in investment.

The company says 238 communities submitted proposals.
