LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Newtown Pike was shutdown at I-75 in Lexington Thursday night due to a diesel fuel spill following an accident involving a semi, according to authorities.
There was no estimate as to when the road would reopen.
Lexington Police say the semi driver was heading south on I-75 and had a medical emergency causing the rig to go down the embankment onto Newtown Pike. Police say the driver had minor injuries. They say no other vehicles were involved and no one else was hurt.
