LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The football Cats haven’t signed a Kentucky kid yet in the 2018 class. Mark Stoops doesn’t want that to be the case.
He says there’s talent here at home and keeping the best guys in state is important.
Recruiting is important. In-home visits are the cornerstone of that process.
Coach Stoops gets to every home.
How has the in-home visit evolved for Stoops from day one at UK to today?
There was a lack of awareness among a lot of high school programs about this new, early signing period.
At least that’s what UK recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow says.
He also sees a huge change in the future in the recruiting process.
