Lexington rapper delivers coats to needy children

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington rapper and community advocate Devine Carama delivered donated coats to less fortunate children in eastern Kentucky on Thursday.

Earlier this month, Carama braved the wind and cold in downtown Lexington to urge people to donate coats for children across central and eastern Kentucky.

Wednesday night, Carama and a few dedicated volunteers stayed up all night packing up the donated coats to take to eastern Kentucky.

He says he still needs about 100 more coats for children in Lexington.

If you’d like to donate, you can drop coats off at the ‘Believing in Forever’ location on West Sixth Street in Lexington.
