LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Mt. Sterling man was sentenced to more than three years in prison for a string of overdoses, one of them fatal.
On Monday, Wesley Hamm was sentenced to 420 months by the U.S. District Court in Lexington.
The sentence was handed down after a federal trial earlier in the year.
Prosecutors say Hamm was part of an investigation into 12 overdoses, one of which resulted in the death of a Montgomery County resident.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says more sentences will be handed down in the future from the same case.
