Shots fired near Whitaker Bank Ballpark

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police say the suspect and victim in a shooting Sunday evening knew each other.

Officers went to an apartment complex on 12th street near Whitaker Bank Ballpark around 7:45 p.m.

When they arrived, they found an adult with a gunshot wound whom they took to UK Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect is cooperating with them, but they have not made any arrests yet.
