Man accused of breaking into boats in Wayne County


WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- An accused boat thief is behind bars in Wayne County. Sheriff’s deputies say 26-year-old Derrick Clarke was breaking into boats on Lake Cumberland last Saturday.

Seven boats were broken into, and were missing several items. According to the Sheriff, deputies actually found Clarke in one of the boats at the Conley Bottom Resort.

He faces several burglary and theft charges.
