MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A crash in Madison County puts one woman in the hospital and a man behind bars.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Dylan Casey of Waco was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer on Battlefield Memorial Highway at around 10 p.m. Wednesday when he collided
head-on with a Scion.
The driver of the Scion, 22-year-old Brianna Cowden of Richmond, was taken to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff.
The passengers in Casey’s car, Audrey Alleruzzo and Kenneth Houlihan, were taken to Baptist Health Richmond with minor injuries.
Casey was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, wanton endangerment and assault.
He was booked into the Madison County Detention Center.
The accident remains under investigation by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Kentucky State Police.
