Lexington police sergeant indicted on rape charge


LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – A Lexington police sergeant has been indicted on a rape charge.

According to Lexington police, a complaint was filed against Sgt. Christopher Morrow in May. That complaint was investigated by Kentucky State Police. During the investigation, Sgt. Morrow was suspended with pay, in accordance with department policy.

On Monday, the Fayette County indicted Sgt. Morrow for one count of Rape in the first degree. Police say he was arrested and is currently suspended without pay.

Morrow is scheduled for a video arraignment on October 5, 2017 at 12 noon.
