STANTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man accused of leading police on a chase through two counties is still on the loose, a week after the incident, according to Stanton Police.
Investigators say a Stanton Police officer tried to pull over Timothy Estepp in Powell County on August 9. Police say Estepp refused to pull over and led authorities on a chase into Montgomery County that ended near Calk Lake Drive.
Police say after slamming on his brakes during the chase, causing a pursuing police car to run into the back of his car, Estepp jumped out and ran into a wooded area and hasn’t been seen since.
Anyone with information about Estepp’s whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.
