PARIS, Ky. (WTVQ)- A family has to find a new place to stay after a fire destroyed their home Saturday night in Paris.
The City’s fire department says a woman was home at the time, cleaning around the house when she heard a pop then an explosion.
She called 911 at a neighbor’s house while hearing more explosion noises.
The Battalion Chief says, when crews arrived, all floors of the home were on fire.
Luckily, no one was injured, but the home is a loss.
Fire Department officials say the fire started in the rear of the house under the back porch roof.
After crews sifted through the fire debris multiple electrical failures were found, according to investigators.
At this point this fire is no longer under investigation by the Paris Fire Department.
