We’ve seen a mix of sun and clouds on this Monday with temperatures around the mid 80s in most locations. Dew points are still lower, which has made for another comfortable day. We’ll see a few more clouds building in tonight with temperatures in the mid 60s. High pressure is still stationed over the region keeping dry weather in play. However, by Tuesday it will start to move out of the area and allow for a trough of low pressure to move into the area. This will bring a slight chance for some isolated showers tomorrow afternoon, but a better chance by Wednesday. It will not be a washout, but we will see isolated to scattered chances Wednesday afternoon. The best chance for showers and storms arrives Thursday and Friday as a cold front moves through the area. Heavy rain is possible earlier Friday before decreasing into the evening hours. Some storms have the potential to be strong Friday as the front crosses the area. Drier weather moves in for the weekend once again. Temperatures for the first half of the week will settle around the average and in the mid 80s. With the front moving through Thursday into Friday, it will drop temperatures Friday into the upper 70s. Temperatures will stay around the upper 70s and low 80s through the weekend with low 80s expected through early next week. It looks like showers will return to start the next work week as well.
