You can definitely feel the extra moisture in the air as you walk outside. Dew points are still on the rise making it feel almost tropical outside. Highs have reached once again into the upper 80s. Because of the heat and humidity, isolated showers and storms have been popping through the afternoon hours. We’ll continue to see a chance for isolated development into the evening and overnight hours. No severe weather is expected, but a few storms could drop heavy at times along with gusty winds and frequent lightning. Lows tonight will stay around 70 degrees. It will be hot and humid for your Tuesday with a slightly better chance for showers and storms. The best chance for storms activity will be Wednesday and Thursday. Highs both days will stay around the upper 80s with high humidity. Temperatures remain near 90 into the weekend with lesser chances for shower and storm activity Friday and Saturday. Highs will still be in the mid to upper 80s for Father’s Day with a chance for showers and storms.
