WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-Two Whitley County Sheriff’s deputies were hurt Saturday after a crash on New Zion Church Road.

The sheriff says the deputies were driving around a curve when a man driving in the wrong lane hit them just before 4 PM.

Both deputies and a female passenger were injured, but were not taken to the hospital.

The driver of the car that hit the deputies’ cruiser was cited for not wearing a seat belt, not having insurance, and not having registration plates.
