LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police said five teenagers were taken into custody on Thursday after they were caught breaking into Dunbar High School.
Police said a silent alarm at the school went off just before 3:30 a.m.
Live surveillance showed five people moving around in the school.
When officers arrived, they caught four of the teenagers running from the school.
A fifth was found near the scene.
Police said they don’t believe anything in the school was taken or vandalized.
They believe the teens got in through an unlocked window.
The teens will be charged with criminal trespassing, according to police.
