LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn has released the identity of a man who was killed after being hit by an SUV on Gerogetown Road and Berea Road in Lexington early Wednesday morning.
The coroner says 40-year-old Paulino Leal-Dominguez died of multiple blunt force trauma at around 2:20 a.m.
Leal-Dominguez was hit while crossing the road at around 1:30 a.m.
Police say he was in a poorly lit area, and ran across the road in an area where there was no crosswalk.
The driver will not be charged with any crime.

Pedestrian hit on Georgetown Road dies
A man who was hit by a car overnight on Georgetown Road and Berea Road in Lexington has died, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
The victim’s family hasn’t been notified yet, so his name hasn’t been released.
Lexington Police say the man was hit by an SUV around 1:30 a.m.
Investigators say the man was not in a crosswalk and ran across the road.
Police say it happened in a poorly lit area and that the driver didn’t see the pedestrian.
Investigators drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors in the case and that the driver will not be charged with any crime.
