LCSO looking for suspect who left stolen car; stole motorcycle instead

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County Sheriff John Root is looking for a suspect who he says left a stolen vehicle at the scene when he stole a motorcycle from a home off of KY 552.

The Sheriff says between 3:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., someone left a stolen black Honda Civic in the driveway of a home, lifted the home’s garage door, and took off with a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle.

Deputies say the victim was asleep inside the home at the time of the theft.

According to the Sheriff, the motorcycle is dark green with tan stripes and saddle bags.

The car was apparently stolen from London.
