FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) -Kentucky State Police have released additional details after announcing they were looking for three individuals on kidnapping charges.
According to Troopers, Steven A. Miller, Erica Morrison, and Cody Mcarter went to a woman’s apartment with the intent of gathering 100 dollars.
The woman, say police, didn’t have the money, which led to an argument and a gun being fired. Reportedly, all four left the home to go to an ATM, during which the woman called police, saying she was being held against her will.
Investigators say the group then arrived at a 5th & 3rd Bank ATM, at which they were unable to withdraw the $100 dollars. Miller and Mcarter then, reportedly, went to Miller’s house in Frankfort, while Morrison took the woman to the Walmart in Lawrenceburg.
Police say the victim was able to get the money from someone there, at which point Morrison left the woman.
The victim was sent to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
State Police are still looking for all three suspects.
