Meeting asks for public input on bike, pedestrian needs in Lexington

This year's event is jam-packed with pedal-friendly activities, opportunities for free bike maintenance and giveaways.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An open house will be held Tuesday evening at West Sixth Brewing which will give residents an opportunity to share their opinions about bike and pedestrian facilities and needs throughout the Lexington area.

The Connect Lex event will run from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the brewery, located at 501 W. 6th Street.

Organizers say the meeting will gather opinions for the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), which is in the process of seeking input for their 2017 update to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.
