LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Firefighters remain on the scene of a house fire on East Loudon Avenue that broke out Friday morning.
According to the Fire Department, a third-shift Lexington police officer spotted the flames coming from the home at around 7:30 a.m. and called firefighters.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire.
The home took on extensive damage and is now unlivable.
The homeowner tells ABC 36 that the house was being rented to a family.
No word on what started the fire.
