Cold night tonight with possible patchy frost; sunshine Sunday


After a rainy start to the day, we saw a break through a good portion of the afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. A few isolated showers are possible through the evening hours. Temperatures stayed cooler and generally in the 50s. They will drop into the 30s overnight. With temperatures dropping into the mid 30s and decreasing clouds, there could be some patchy frost by Sunday morning. Make sure to cover sensitive plants with a cloth or bring them inside overnight. Mostly sunny skies are expected for your Sunday with temperatures in the low 60s. It will be breezy with wind gusts around 20 miles per hour through the day. Temperatures will drop back into the 30s Sunday night. They won’t be as close to the freezing mark as tonight, but it will still be cold. We’ll start Monday with sunshine, but see increasing clouds into the afternoon with highs in the low to mid 60s. There is a late chance for isolated showers. Showers build in overnight with lows in the low 50s. Showers continue mainly for your Tuesday morning. Highs will reach around 70 Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds by the afternoon. Temperatures warm into the mid 70s Wednesday with late chance for rain and a few storms. Showers and storms are likely Thursday with highs in the low to mid 70s. A few storms could be strong late Wednesday and Thursday with gusty winds. A few showers and storms are still possible Friday with highs in the upper 60s. Drier weather returns for the weekend with temperatures in the upper 60s and around 70 degrees.
