LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County Sheriff John Root says deputies arrested three people on West KY 80 Thursday afternoon on drug charges.
The Sheriff says deputies found several needles, one which had suspected meth in it, in a black colored Dodge Ram occupied by 50-year-old Randy Nantz, 43-year-old Kenneth Chandler, and 35-year-old Linda Sue Collett.
Nantz was charged with possession, along with an outstanding warrant from Whitley County for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Chandler was also charged with possession, in addition to a Laurel County bench warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of traffic violations and driving on a suspended or revoked license. Collett was charged with public intoxication after deputies say the admitted to using methamphetamine earlier.
All three were taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
