HARTFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – An Owensboro woman has been arrested after an investigation by Kentucky State Police into a business that reported that company checks had been stolen.
Police say Five-Star Realty in Hartford reported the stolen checks on Saturday, April 29.
An investigation led Troopers to 29-year-old Felicia Roach. Officers say Roach took two check books from the realty company, and wrote 24 separate checks with them, valued at around $5,000 dollars.
She was arrested and charged with theft, and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
She was taken to the Ohio County Detention Center.
