LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Traffic management says that a railroad crossing on 4th Street between Henry Street and Newtown Pike has been closed and will remain closed until Friday.
The closure will allow crews to redo the road crossing over the railroad. The crossing is estimated to reopen at 3:00 p.m.
Detour signs are in place and will divert traffic to Jefferson, 2nd, 3rd, and Newtown Pike.
The railroad crossing rebuild is the last in a series around the city, including the recent closure at the railroad crossing on Walton Avenue.
