LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A new school is on its way to Lexington. Groundbreaking was held Thursday for the Sayre Lower School.
It will serve students, kindergarten through fifth grade. For many, the new school will literally be a breath of fresh air.
“Right off our science classroom, we do have a roof top classroom. A place where children can grow, have their science experiments. We can have social events outside. It will be on the interior side of the building overlooking beautiful green space in the heart of Lexington,” said Annie Papero, head of Sayre Lower School.
