MOUNT VERNON, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say drugs are suspected as a factor in a deadly accident in Rockcastle County on Thursday.
Investigators say 36-year old Thomas F. Bullen, of Mount Vernon, lost control of his pickup truck on Highland Drive in Mount Vernon shortly before 10:00 a.m.
After losing control, the pickup traveled through a yard and hit the corner of a mobile home on Tincher Drive.
There were people in the home at the time, but they were not hurt, according to KSP.
Bullen, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to State Police. His passenger, 27-year old Zackery Mullins, of Brodhead, who State Police say was not wearing a seat belt, was not injured.
The deadly crash remains under investigation by State Police.
