LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – After nearly 17 years of operation, the Catholic Action Center will hold their “Last Lunch” celebration on April 6th at their closing location on East 5th Street.
A spokesperson for the center says the facility has served over 5.5 million meals over its history.
On the CAC Facebook page, organizers are inviting people to come join them for one last meal, and asks anyone with memories or photos of the facility to bring them.
The lunch will take place from 11:45 a.m. through 1:00 p.m.
The center will close after dinner on the 6th.
The opening of the new building, located at 1055 Industry Road, is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, April 20th.
