
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say the driver who caused a four-vehicle collision may have been under the influence.
The collision happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the busy intersection of Newtown Pike and Citation Boulevard, according to police.
Three cars and a semi were involved in the accident, according to investigators.
A driver of one of the car’s was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The crash led to temporary lane closures and a traffic backup.
As of 7:45 p.m., one lane of Newtown Pike had reopened in each direction, according to police.
