LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The University of Kentucky sent out an alert at around 2:40 p.m., reporting an armed robbery attempt on campus.
The alert says the incident happened at Parking Structure #2 on Hilltop Avenue.

The suspect is described as being about 6-foot tall with a slender frame, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans, and armed with a knife.
UK Police say no injuries were reported in the incident. They say the suspect approached the victim with a knife but ran away toward Rose Street without taking any money or belongings.
The university cleared the alert just after 3:00 p.m.
