LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say they arrested 69 suspects over the course of four days. The suspects were wanted for felony or misdemeanor warrants, according to investigators.

Police say the focus of the effort was on felony offenders with active arrest warrants, with a priority on suspected violent offenders with significant charges such as robbery, kidnapping, assault, sex crimes, and trafficking narcotics.

Here is the breakdown in numbers:

 More than 60 felony warrants served
 More than 10 misdemeanor warrants served

 7 guns seized including:
o One AK-47
o Two 38 caliber revolvers (both reported stolen)
o Two 38 caliber semi-automatic handguns
o One 22 caliber revolver
o One 22 caliber semi-automatic handgun

 Drugs seized including:
o Approximately 24 grams of heroin
o Approximately 24 grams of cocaine
o Approximately 141 grams of marijuana

 $12,600 cash seized during these investigations

The Lexington Police Department says they worked with the Office of the Fayette County Sheriff, state Probation & Parole, Kentucky State Police, the ATF, the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service and the U.S. Secret Service to successfully execute the roundup.
